As a Prep Cook, you'll be the culinary maestro behind the scenes, preparing delectable delights that energize our guests and elevate their experience on and off the course.

What you'll do
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and marinating, following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste and maximize profitability.
- Organize and stock ingredients and supplies to ensure smooth workflow during meal service. Notify the chef or manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a high degree of standards in cleanliness and sanitation in all the kitchen areas, including equipment, countertops, and storage areas, following food safety regulations.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure food quality and freshness.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a prep cook in a high-volume environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and tools.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
