About the Role:

The Production Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels. The ideal candidate will analyze production capacity, resource availability, and lead times to optimize workflow and minimize downtime. By coordinating with various departments, the Production Scheduler will ensure that all materials and resources are available when needed, ultimately contributing to the overall productivity and profitability of the organization. Success in this role will lead to improved operational efficiency and enhanced customer satisfaction through timely delivery of products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
  • Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM or similar).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in scheduling processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on production status and address any scheduling conflicts.
