Restaurant Manager โ€“ Avista Resort

Job description - As the Restaurant Manager you will ensure that guest receives the highest level of food and drink quality and service. You will supervise the onsite Restaurant, Just Off Main, Bars and Banquet functions with regards to: daily sales, internal controls, staffing, scheduling, POS sales reports, training, inventory etc.ย  Position will supervise the F&B FOH Revenue Centers and reports to the Executive Chef.

Job responsibilities -

  • Responsible for all F&B FOH Revenue Centers including Banquet Functions but not limited to:
    • Daily Sales
    • Daily Cash Receipts, Cash Banks/Drops
    • Operating Expenses
    • Staffing and schedules
  • Responsible for F&B FOH Staff: training, hiring, and scheduling team members
  • Manage and monitor product quality, service, and satisfaction trends; evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Conduct routine weekly audits of the cash drops and daily closing process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by quickly fixing any issues
  • Ensure that all staff are complying with serving standards
  • Maintain and make continuous improvements to cleaning protocols
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
  • Facilitate quick and efficient communication between front and back-of-house (BOH)
  • Money handling and night-end reconciliation
  • Ensure consistency of product and service
  • Lead person in training, supervising, and developing FOH Team Members; follow our company policies and procedures
  • Personally, demonstrate a commitment to our customers by inquiring about service quality and responding promptly to guest needs.
  • Ensure daily checklists are completed.
  • Fill in for staff when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work alongside the Executive Chef and Head Bartender for proper training and guidance
  • Assist in monthly inventory for FOH and Bars.ย 

Qualifications -

ยทย  ย ย Integrity and Ethical

ยทย  ย ย Previous experience in a related field

ยทย  ย  ย Knowledge of Micros POS system is plus

ยทย  ย  ย Must be dependable and have good time management skills

ยทย  ย  ย Ability to multitask, problem solve, and sound decision making

ยทย  ย ย Guest oriented with excellent people skills

ยทย ย Available to work a flexible schedule to fill in for callouts including weekends and some holidays

ยทย ย ServSafe Manager certification is a Requirement
