You will work with a team of people who are leading the way in medical device design & manufacturing and have a long history of innovation and customer service.Β 

As a Senior Research & Development Engineer for Rhythmlink, you will leverage your engineering degree and expertise to:Β 

  • Lead R&D projects focused on conceptualization and feasibility of new and innovative solutions to complex problems

  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to commercialize new devices and technology

  • Provide technical engineering expertise to cross-functional groups during feasibility and commercialization stages of product development

  • Transform ideas into functioning prototypes utilizing various methods of fabrication

  • Collaborate with third parties to verify feasibility of designs

Do you have some/all of:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical device, or related, R&D and/or lead product design role.

  • Experience in medical device design for use in MRI environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in transforming conceptual ideas into physical prototypes and commercial products

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating collaboration with cross-functional teams and third parties

  • Experience in common manufacturing and fabrication methods for medical devices

  • Proficiency in relevant product design and research software (SOLIDWORKS, Minitab, etc)
