Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Radio Frequency Engineer to provide engineering support to the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System program. This position will be located in Charleston, SCΒ and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Provides installation and technical expertise inΒ research, design, development, commissioning, test, and evaluation, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements directly related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high powered broadcast systems.Β 

Β 

Must be recognized as an expert in design, field modification, test, and evaluation of FVLF/LF transmitters, antennas, and antenna tuning systems as senior engineer responsible for commissioning and/or leading major modifications of current generation of FVLF/LF radio transmitters. Must experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, experience with MultiSIM or PSPICE.

Performs intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure transmitter systems are operating efficiently. Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation.Β

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years experience

Primarily onsite position with occasional remote opportunities.

Β 

15 years experience specifically in research, design, development, commissioning, test, and evaluation, to include:

  • Technology Analysis and Assessment
  • Design Definition
  • Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration
  • Test & Evaluation Criteria
  • Logistics support of C4ISR requirements directly related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high powered broadcast systems.
  • Must have experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, experience with MultiSIM or PSPICE.

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an β€œat-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $124,540.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
