This is not a traditional IT leadership role.

It is an opportunity to build the enterprise technology and data platform that will support one of America's fastest-growing critical materials companies.

We are looking for a builder—someone energized by solving difficult problems, modernizing technology, leveraging data and AI, and creating capabilities that scale with the business.

THE ROLE

The Vice President, Digital & Information Technology will lead the transformation of Principal Mineral's global technology organization into a modern, data-driven business partner.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this executive will partner with leaders across manufacturing, engineering, commercial, finance, and operations to develop the technology, data, and digital capabilities that enable growth, operational excellence, and future acquisitions.

Success in this role requires equal parts strategic thinking and execution. The ideal candidate enjoys building organizations, simplifying complexity, developing people, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

Enterprise Technology Platform

Build the scalable technology foundation supporting Principal Mineral's continued growth.

·         Define and execute the enterprise technology strategy.

·         Modernize SAP, enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

·         Build scalable platforms capable of supporting acquisitions and global operations.

Enterprise Data & Digital Intelligence

Powered by data. Solutions delivered on an industrial scale.

·         Build the enterprise data capabilities that enable faster decisions, operational visibility, and scalable growth.

·         Develop the enterprise data strategy and modern data warehouse/lake architecture.

·         Establish enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, KPI governance, and master data standards.

·         Integrate SAP and enterprise systems into a trusted, enterprise-wide data platform.

·         Expand AI-enabled analytics and self-service reporting across the business.

Digital Manufacturing

Modernize technology supporting manufacturing and operational excellence.

·         Improve visibility across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial operations.

·         Partner with business leaders to improve productivity, automation, and operational performance.

·         Expand digital manufacturing capabilities that support global growth.

Technology Organization

Build a high-performing technology organization capable of scaling with the business.

·         Develop exceptional technology talent and future leaders.

·         Foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

·         Create governance and operating disciplines that enable speed and execution.

Enterprise Growth

Build technology capabilities that accelerate Principal Mineral's long-term strategy.

·         Support acquisition due diligence and technology integration.

·         Standardize enterprise platforms across operating companies.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within the first 24 months, this leader will have:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

We're looking for leaders who have experience in:

·         Manufacturing or industrial technology organizations.

·         Enterprise ERP platforms, preferably SAP.

·         Enterprise data platforms, analytics, and reporting.

·         Digital transformation, cloud technologies, and AI-enabled business solutions.

·         Building and developing high-performing technology teams.

·         Supporting growth, acquisitions, or rapidly scaling organizations.
