The WarehouseΒ Associate will work closely with supervisor and peers to ensure the proper execution of daily warehouse functions, including focus on overall customer satisfaction. Β 

Β 

As a Warehouse Associate with Travers, you willΒ be responsible for:Β 

ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPINGΒ 

  • Process, pack, and ship orders accuratelyΒ 
  • Prepare products for shippingΒ 

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:Β 

  • Maintain inventory of products; restock as neededΒ 
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsΒ 
  • Daily Cycle counts, including system updates toΒ maintainΒ accuracy levelsΒ 
  • Receive inventory, inspect for damages and discrepancies; report as neededΒ 
  • Maintain inventory of products, restock as needed following organizational standardsΒ 

QUALITY CONTROL:

  • Inspect products for damages and discrepancies; report as neededΒ 

WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE:Β 

  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environmentΒ 
  • Operate sit-down forkliftΒ 

SAFETY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE:Β 

  • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse proceduresΒ 
  • Maintain and promoteΒ high standardsΒ of customer serviceΒ

METRICS:Β 

  • Maintain picking or inspecting accuracy of 99.9%Β 
  • Meet efficiency standardsΒ 
  • Contribute to same day shipping goal of 99.7%Β 
  • Complete cross-training in 2 areas in first yearΒ

QUALIFICATIONS:Β 

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferredΒ 
  • 2-3 years ofΒ previousΒ warehouse experience preferredΒ 
  • Valid forklift certificationΒ 
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skillsΒ 
  • Dependable and ReliableΒ 
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may beΒ requiredΒ 
  • Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.Β 
  • Strong teamΒ playerΒ 
  • Ability to work from 11:00 am till 7:30 pm EST
